About

Dr. Kristin Ridder

I work collaboratively with you in order to develop a plan for therapy that fits you well. My goal is to create a compassionate and safe space to reflect on and address issues that arise in life. My hope is that through our work, you can develop skills and insight to help you create meaningful change in your life while feeling supported and guided through the process. I take a flexible and compassionate approach to therapy and incorporate effective therapies from frameworks including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. This means spending some time discovering how our thoughts and behavior can sometimes be unhelpful, and then working to develop strategies that help you lead a meaningful life and work towards your goals of therapy.
